About
Sion Jo is a photographer specializing in street photography. He has long enjoyed wandering the streets and capturing street photography since when he was in high school. After completing his military service, he worked as a photojournalist at a media subsidiary of a Korean news agency. During his time there, he developed a keen interest in photographing social issues and current affairs. Even after leaving his internship, he has continued to work on documentary series consistently. He firmly believes that photography is an irreplaceable medium for conveying information to people and holds that it still possesses a powerful impact today.
